About this gathering

The evening

Come together to experience your deepest state of peace and clarity. The original 'Sound Healing Symphony' returns to the majestic Grace Cathedral for a powerful evening of collective listening, deep rest, and resonance. The experience is like a sonic massage.

Tickets go up October 1st!

Tickets are not live yet. Sign up below and we’ll let you know when they are available.

Ticket types

  • One Soothing Experience (lying down) $45
  • One Seated Experience (pews) $28
  • Benefactor Space (lying down at the front) $214Includes a soft, comfortable setup created for you in front of the front row of the Symphony.

At Grace Cathedral

Set within Grace Cathedral, San Francisco’s iconic French Gothic landmark atop Nob Hill, the natural acoustics and sacred architecture create a breathtakingly immersive soundscape. Modeled after Notre-Dame, the cathedral’s soaring stone arches and stained glass transform every tone into a celestial vibration.

Arrive at 7:00 PM to get comfortable and settled.

The 75-minute sound bath begins promptly at 8:00 PM.

Dress warmly, as body temperature drops when lying down. If you’re seated, you don’t need to bring anything, though an extra cushion can help.

We recommend that you bring:

  • A yoga mat or pad
  • Sleeping bag or blanket (optional)
  • A pillow, maybe an extra under your knees (optional)
  • Water

If you’re lying down, the cozier and more comfortable you are, the deeper the experience.

Sound meditation

Sound meditation (often called “sound healing”) is the practice of listening to carefully curated sounds to access deep meditative states with ease. During the event, participants are bathed head to toe in sound — a hypnotic, immersive experience that many describe as deeply restorative.

Guests often leave with a clear mind, a settled nervous system, and a renewed appreciation for the power of sound. This experience is especially supportive for those who feel meditation is difficult or hard to access.

The musicians

The Sound Healing Symphony is conducted by Guy Douglas and features an expansive collection of meditative instruments. Featuring:

Guy Douglas {conductor; crystal bowls, gong & Native American flute}

Destiny Muhammad {harp}

Alisa Rose Healy {vocals}

Vladimir Cardema {didgeridoo & Native American flute}

Elizabeth Byrd {cello}

Simona Marie Asinovski {monolina}

Xenia Giolli {gong}

Erica Nguyễn {gong}

Kendall Odom {crystal bowls}

Support and accessibility

Want to attend but cannot afford to? Email us at erika@soundmeditationpresents.com. There are volunteer opportunities so you can join in.

Sound Meditation Presents is a nonprofit at the intersection of mental health and the arts. Benefactor tickets support our continued operation. We create accessible healing arts events, sound bath education, sleep support, and we’re opening a new “sound & regulation” program for children.

If you’re an educator or work in school administration, contact us at erika@soundmeditationpresents.com. If cost is a barrier and you wish to attend, please ask us about volunteer spots — we want these events to remain accessible.
